Install

  1. Open Ortus.dmg from your Downloads.
  2. Drag Ortus into Applications.
  3. Open Ortus from Applications. Look for the sun in your menu bar.

Block websites too

Ortus closes Mac apps on its own. To block websites, it walks you through adding its browser extension to Chrome, Arc, Edge or Brave. Safari and Firefox aren't supported yet.

Prefer Terminal?

This downloads the same app into Applications and opens it.

Ortus checks for new versions and offers them in Settings. Updates never install during a focus session. See what changed in the release notes, or read the source code.
